Supported Devices

We support almost every Blackberry device, except for phones on CDMA networks that do not have GSM capabilities. We are not able to unlock the Blackberry Curve 8130 or 8330 for any network.

Finding Your IMEI

In order to unlock your Blackberry, you will need to provide us with your device’s IMEI number.

If your device is tied to a GSM carrier, then the IMEI should be printed on the back under the battery. If this is not the case, choose “Options” from the home screen and scroll down to “Status”. The IMEI number will be listed under the “Status” option.

Unlocking Instructions

Blackberries are among the easiest devices to unlock and take only a few seconds to do so. Please follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure the wireless is turned off and a SIM card is inserted. You can turn the wireless off on the home screen by scrolling to the option "Turn Wireless Off"
  2. After turning off the wireless, go to Options from the home screen and choose Advanced Options on the menu.
  3. Under Advanced options choose "SIM Card". The screen will either be blank or show an ID. It does not matter.
  4. After choosing "SIM card", type in MEPD (you will not see this show up on the screen as you type it) You have typed it correctly if text shows up on the screen at the end.
  5. When text is on the screen, then type MEP then [ALT button] then 2 (again you will not see this as you type it on the screen)
  6. An option should show up at this point allowing you to enter an MEP code. This is where you enter the lock code.
  7. After entering the code press the trackball once and the phone should say (Code Accepted). The device will need to reboot before it is unlocked.
  8. You can check the phone is unlocked by going back to "SIM card" and typing MEPD. If everything is "disabled" then you have correctly unlocked your phone.
